In the hiking paradise “Wasser.Wander.Welt” (Water.Hiking.World), nine certified premium hiking trails lead you to many favorite spots in the cross-border Maas-Schwalm-Nette Nature Park. Let yourself be enchanted by the fascinating interplay between water, meadows, forest, heathland and a rare flora and fauna.
The rivers Maas, Schwalm and Nette, which give the park its name, as well as numerous lakes and streams, shape the Niederrhein landscape here. Twenty-five selected favorite spots, known as “water views,” offer particularly impressive views of the waters in the nature park.
On the premium hiking trails, nature invites you to experience quiet wonders on foot – welcome to the green soul of the Niederrhein!
