Discover the Niederrhein on the 3-Flüsse-Route between the rivers Lippe, Issel and Rhine. Experience the varied landscape along the three rivers on the 140-kilometer route, which connects the towns of Hamminkeln, Hünxe, Raesfeld, Rees, Schermbeck and Wesel.

Along the way, you can experience the “Rheinaue” up close, which offers many interesting natural and cultural features. In the old Hanseatic city of Wesel, marvel at the Prussian bastion system and the citadel, which houses the LVR Niederrhein Museum. A detour to the Berlin Gate and the famous Willibrordi Cathedral is well worth it.

In Raesfeld, you can visit Raesfeld Water Castle, one of the most impressive moated castles in the region. Nearby in Hamminkeln is the van Nahmen fruit press, where you can stop off on your bike tour.

In Rees, the oldest town on the Niederrhein, one of the most beautiful promenades on the Rhine awaits you. The Rees casemates are a special highlight, especially for those interested in history.
